The Practice of Letting Things Be Okay

Everything is going to be okay.

If this is the sign you were looking for then, it is it.

It's okay to feel lost, confused, angry, scared and be wondering how am I going to make it through this.

Sometimes we can't see things differently, we can only see them as they are. Sometimes we feel like why is this happening to me.
Sometimes we feel resentful, critical or even want to blame.
Sometimes we don't want to do anything.
Sometimes we feel overwhelmed and our mind is spinning in circles.
Sometimes we feel consumed by our emotions.
Sometimes we feel alone and lonely.
Sometimes we feel uneasy and panicked.

And it is okay.

When we say something is okay, we are being compassionate.
We are practicing compassion.

Okay = compassion

This is a powerful practice. Try it.

I don't feel good right now, and it is okay.
I feel scared about my future, and it is okay.
I am afraid to be alone, and it is okay.
I don't know what to do, and it is okay.
I feel angry, afraid or sad, and it is okay.
I am feeling fear, and it is okay.
I feeling stuck, and it is okay.
I feel like not doing anything, and it is okay
I don't know when things will get better, and it is okay.
Things feel so up in the air right now, and it is okay.
I am exhausted and I need to rest, and it is okay.
I don't want to think about it, and it is okay.
I don't want to do that, and it is okay.

Whatever your situation is, whatever you are feeling right now, whatever you find yourself with, let it be okay.

There is something incredibly calming, peaceful about telling yourself it is okay. You stop fighting with yourself, and you start being there for yourself. When you are being there for yourself, you are loving yourself. When you are being there for yourself, you feel better. This is the teaching of a compassionate okay.

Stay open.
