Uncertainty is Your Teacher

Right now I find myself dancing with uncertainty and living in the unknown. Last month, I left Chicago, the city I called home for over two and half years. I packed up my things, minimized my life, sold everything and set forth on a journey to pursue what makes me come alive and what my soul is here to express!

Along with this exciting unfoldment a lot of fear has come up, but I am strongly being told to trust and let go. However, the Ego is so busy worrying, freaking out and trying, but not succeeding to control everything. As I bring awareness to what the Ego is saying, I can't help but get caught up in it's screenplay. I've had to really anchor myself in my daily meditation practice to affirm that all is good, all is working itself out.

In this week's video I share with you how to understand uncertainty and share with you how to respond in a holding zone:

In a previous post, I mentioned that worry and uncertainty will be present together. Where there is worry, there will also be uncertainty. By accepting the now and choosing to appreciate what the present moment holds, you release yourself from worrying about the uncertainty you find yourself in.

Try this exercise: Write out in your journal the uncertain situation you find yourself in and the worry that is consuming you.

"Dear God, I trust that you will take care of the events I currently find myself. The path will be shown to me as I listen to your guidance and surrender my thinking that is causing the internal conflict in me. Thank you".

Now, let it go and surrender to trust.

When you find yourself in uncertainty you will have the opportunity to practice your faith and trust muscles. When you are sure of everything and you know the outcome then, why would you bother to trust and have faith? So, by choosing to shift your perception and accepting the miracle, you can see uncertainty as your teacher.

Uncertainty is teaching you about faith, trust and surrender.

Tell me, how can you trust more and what can you to anchor yourself so you don't drift away when the winds of uncertainty get strong.
